We are an established stand-alone Small Animal GP clinic with experienced vets and paraprofessionals in the River Valley/ Tiong Bahru area.

We have a lovely clientele and see dogs and cats only, focusing on high quality, low volume caseload which are interesting and varied.

We are located within walking distance to Tiong Bahru MRT and River Valley and are not open on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Always having constant support from our support staff as all our consultations are triaged by our reception care team and scheduled by-appointment.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a charismatic vet who is confident and competent in routine surgery and able to work without supervision. It is essential that the suitable candidate have a client oriented approach and possess great interpersonal skills.

Our practice comes equipped with the usual toys including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental machine, in-house lab, tonopen and fantastic support from the rest of the team.

Requirements:

Possess a love for animals and people

Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to handle Mandarin speaking clients a bonus

Strong client service and organizational skills

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments

Computer literate

Previous experience of at least 2 years in customer service or front desk work within the health care industry, with a need to spell and understand commonly used terminology in veterinary medicine.

Ability to work some Saturdays and nights. No Sundays and Public Holidays

Responsibilities:

You will be the face of our veterinary care team, ensuring clients and their animals receive the exceptional service that we are known for via prompt communication and compassion in a calm and confident manner. As part of our team, you will handle initial telephone calls or emails from clients, welcome them to the clinic, ensure they are seen quickly and efficiently, and on occasion assist the veterinary staff.

You will also manage the completion of client paperwork, take payments, maintain records and perform other administration and cleaning tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

Lastly, you should possess the diplomatic skills needed to diffuse negative client situations and foster client bonding.

Requirements:

Be competent with inserting IV catheters, taking bloods, setting up fluids, positioning for radiographs and ultrasounds, ward and theatre monitoring

Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Nursing or the equivalent

4- or 5-day work week or up to 44 hrs per week (inclusive of 1:2 Saturdays)

Shifts will rotate through ward, theatre, and lab

Singaporean or PR only

Responsibilities:

Veterinary nurses are important members of today’s modern veterinary team. They work alongside veterinary surgeons to provide vital nursing care, ensuring that the wellbeing of small animal patients is paramount. The successful applicant will likely- have experience as a veterinary assistant /nurse esp surgical nursing skills , be passionate and conscientious in their work- a team player and a strong sense of responsibility. Some of the duties include:

Assisting the vets in their daily tasks, including during consultations.
Anaesthesia monitoring and assisting in surgery.
Hospital treatments and running laboratory tests.
Assisting in diagnostic imaging.
Perform relevant administrative duties.
Handling and upkeep of stock.
Help in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic, including vacuuming and mopping daily.
